North Shore Road, Pelee Island. The better address.

One of the mysteries of all social life is why some real estate addresses become the preferred residential locations.

Fifteen years ago, the preferred salons of Pelee Island had addresses mostly on Coopers Road. Those bar-b-ques and brunches, cocktail parties and dinners usually had RSVPs to Coopers Road addresses.

Now, the sought-after invitations have addresses on North Shore Road.

On any weekend, North Shore Road social life nourishes muscians and writers, artists and wits, gourmands and wine lovers, farmers and financiers, doctors, and lawyers, CEOs and tapdancers.

Ultimately, the reason for the Pelee Island migration of preferred addresses to North Shore Road is a mystery.

But, if you want a memorable rack of lamb, a meaningful Manhattan, insight into current musical theater and multiple jokes to repeat back home, a North Shore Road party invitation is the ticket for you.
