Bexley Public Radio Dividend Note. No. 3, March 27, 2009.

AT&T Inc. Mar 27 2009 (NYSE:T) today declared a quarterly dividend of $0.41 a share on the company’s common shares. The dividend is payable on May 1, 2009, to stockholders of record at the close of business on April 9, 2009.
In December 2008, AT&T announced a 2.5 percent dividend increase, and 2009 is the 25th consecutive year in which the company has increased its quarterly dividend. In 2008, the company paid a total of $9.5 billion in dividends to stockholders.

Hatteras Financial Corp. Mar 24 2009 (NYSE: HTS) increased its quarterly dividend to $1.05/share for the first quarter of 2009. The dividend will be paid on April 24, 2009, to stockholders of record on April 3, 2009, with an ex-dividend date of April 1, 2009. “We are pleased to announce an increased dividend, which corresponds to the completion of our 2009 first quarter,” said Michael R. Hough, the Chief Executive Officer of Hatteras. The new dividend yield is 17.84%. HTS is an externally managed mortgage real estate investment trust (REIT) formed to invest in adjustable-rate and hybrid adjustable-rate single-family residential mortgage pass-through securities guaranteed or issued by a United States Government agency.

Pepsi Bottling Group Inc. Mar 26, 2009 (NYSE: PEP) said Thursday that it is increasing its quarterly dividend by 5.9 percent.
The board of directors increased the dividend to 18 cents per share from 17 cents. This is the sixth-consecutive year the board has increased the dividend.
Pepsi's dividend will be paid on June 30 to all shareholders of record as of June 6.

Prospect Capital Corporation Mar 24 2009 (NASDAQ: PSEC) announced today that it has declared a third fiscal quarter (for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2009) dividend of $0.405 per share.

This dividend marks the Company’s 18th consecutive quarterly increase. The dividend now represents an approximately 17.5% current annualized dividend yield based on the closing stock price for March 23, 2009 of $9.27. The ex-dividend date is Friday, March 27, 2009. The record date is Tuesday, March 31, 2009. The payment date is Monday, April 20, 2009.

Raytheon Co. Mar. 25 2009 (NYSE: RTN) announced Wednesday that its board increased the quarterly cash dividend by 10.7 percent to 31 cents per share.
In the prior quarter, the company paid a 28-cent dividend. The new rate brings its annual dividend payout to $1.24, up from $1.12.

The dividend is payable May 1 to shareholders of record on April 7.

"The increase in our dividend reflects our Company's strong financial position, our continued confidence in our future and our ongoing commitment to our shareholders," said Chairman and Chief Executive William H. Swanson.

Realty Income Mar 25, 2009 (NYSE: O), which engages in the acquisition and ownership of commercial retail real estate properties in the United States., raised its dividends to $0.1420625 per share from $0.14175 per share. This is the 46th consecutive quarterly increase for this dividend achiever and the 53rd dividend increase since Realty Income went public in 1994. The new monthly dividend amount represents an annualized dividend amount of $1.70475 per share.
